🦖💚Today we're introducing the President of Luke's Legacy Foundation, Ben.💚🦖
Ben is wholly responsible for building Luke's Legacy from the ground up. When Luke passed, starting this organizatiom brought him so much comfort. From establishing our accounts and handling financial planning to navigating the 501(c)(3) application process and everything in between, Ben has spent countless hours building the foundation from the ground up.
While many people see the events, fundraisers, and programs we create, Ben is the one making sure the foundation has the structure and stability to serve families for years to come. His attention to detail, dedication, and commitment to honoring Luke's legacy have been paramount in turning this dream into a reality.
Most importantly, Ben pours his heart into this work because of the little boy who inspired it all. Every form completed, every account set up, every late night spent working on foundation business has been done with one goal in mind: helping other families facing childhood cancer while keeping Luke's memory alive.
Without Ben, this wouldn't be possible and he is truly the one responsible for all the good we get to do for people in Luke's name.
💚Fun Facts about Ben💚
Favorite Food: My favorite food honestly changes with my mood, but there’s one thing that never changes: coffee. ☕️ (wonder where Chung got it from?!)
Favorite Hobby: My hobbies really depend on where I am. If I’m indoors, you'll probably find me reading about companies, studying charts, analyzing investments, and absorbing everything I can about the current state of the stock market. If I can be outside, though, that's where I'm happiest. Fishing, camping, hunting, or practicing sports with Link.
Favorite Memory: Honestly, I think I have to cheat a little and choose a season instead of a single memory. For the last six months of his life, we simply did whatever he wanted to do. We became "yes parents." Those big adventures were wonderful, but what I cherish most are the countless little moments. To Luke, those little things were the big things.
Excited about: The greatest gift our family received was time and the freedom to simply say "yes." That's what excites me most about Luke's Foundation — helping create one good day, one special memory, or providing hope during a difficult season. 🎗🤏🦖
