Today, we are spotlighting another sweet soul, whose life ended way too soon.
🎗Meet Raef 🎗
In August 2020, Raef was diagnosed with hepatablastoma requiring a liver transplant. Thankfully the wait was not a long one and within a couple of months he received the needed transplant. After numerous treatments and checkups, Raef had beaten his cancer. Raef was then able to take his Make-A-Wish to Disney World and Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, where he enjoyed the many rides and attractions. His favorite part was The Simpsons area. Unfortunately, after several months, Raef was to battle a second form cancer. All throughout back and forth travels for, and even during treatments, Raef maintained courage and was always thinking and caring of others before himself. More so than most kids his age, and even some adults on their good days.
In January of 2019, at the age of 17, Raef went to be with his Holy Father.
Raef will always be remembered by all those who knew him for his love of video games, movies and TV shows, especially The Simpsons. But most of all he will be remembered for his caring nature and his ever present, infectious smile.
