Today is going to be a pretty special day. 💚💛
When Luke was diagnosed with cancer, I never imagined the ways his little life would change ours, or the impact he would eventually have on the community around him.
I wish more than anything that none of this existed.
I wish I didn't know what childhood cancer treatment looked like. I wish I didn't know what relapse felt like. I wish Luke was here, and September was just another month.
But since I can't change our story, I can make sure his story continues to matter.
Tonight, our family will get to experience something incredibly special in Luke's memory, right here in the community that loved him, supported him and carried our family through some of the hardest days of our lives.
I'm probably going to cry. 😅
Okay, I'm definitely going to cry.
But I think I'm going to be really, really proud, too.
More later. 💚🦖💛
