September has been busy for Luke’s Legacy. We’ve talked about…

September has been busy for Luke’s Legacy. We’ve talked about childhood cancer. We’ve shared stories. We’ve watched our community turn GOLD. 🎗️
And somewhere in the middle of all of it, I keep coming back to the reason we’re doing this in the first place.
I’m just a mom who wishes I never knew any of this.
I wish I didn’t know what chemotherapy looks like running through a tiny body. I wish I didn’t know the sound of hospital monitors in the middle of the night, or what it feels like to wait on lab results that can change your entire world.
But I do.
So now I get to decide what I do with everything Luke taught me.
And this is it. 💚
Every gold ribbon. Every family we help. Every conversation started because someone saw a storefront covered in gold and wondered why. Every person who learns a little more about childhood cancer because we refused to be quiet about it.
Luke was here. His life mattered.
And we’re going to keep making sure something good continues to grow from the enormous impact one little boy left behind. 💚🎗️
