July is Bereaved Parents Awareness Month.
Before Luke, I never imagined a world where parents outlived their child. Now, it's the reality I wake up to every single day.
Losing Luke changed every part of who I am. It taught me how precious time is, how quickly life can change, and why making memories with the people we love matters so much.
Luke's Legacy Foundation exists because of him. While childhood cancer is what brought us here, our mission is bigger than that. We want to help families create meaningful memories together, because tomorrow is never promised.
This month, I'm holding space for every parent carrying the unimaginable. Your child's life mattered. Their story matters. They are loved, remembered, and will never be forgotten. I will always say their name.
